Dubai: Amid tension between the two countries, Pakistani fast bowler Hasan Ali married Shamia Arzoo, a Haryana girl from Mewat district.
He becomes the fourth Pakistani cricketer to marry an India girl after Zaheer Abbas, Mohsin Khan and Shoaib Malik.
The marriage photographs have gone viral on social media.
According to media reports, Hasan was bowled over by the honesty and decided to propose to her during a dinner event in Dubai.
Reports said Hasan had invited both the India and Pakistan cricketing team, but none turned up. While the Indian team is currently touring West Indies, the Pakistani side could not make it to because of their ongoing training camp.
Shadab Khan was the only cricketer to attend the wedding.
