New Delhi: The Union government on Friday extended the deadline for PAN and Aadhar card linking to September 30 due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, failing which PAN card will become invalid.
The government had extended the deadline thrice before due to the pandemic — first from March 31, 2020 to June 30, 2020; then till March 31, 2021; and again till June 30, 2021. This latest extension will be a big relief for those who have not managed to link their PAN with Aadhaar due to mismatch in details.
