Keonjhar: A Zilla Parishad candidate of the BJD passed away following a brief illness in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Saturday.
Anadi Charan Singh, who passed away at the District Headquarters Hospital, was the BJD candidate for Zilla Parishad member from Ghatagaon block’s Zone 8.
Singh was admitted to hospital after he fell sick in the morning. He was taken to Ghatagaon CHC. He was later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The election to the post is likely to be postponed after his death.
