Pandemic Pause For Swapna Pati Herbal Holi Festival In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited annual herbal holi festival will not be organised this year.

Actress Swapna Pati, who organises the festival through her Swapna Pati Foundation, will not do so this time due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The Foundation has been organising herbal Holi festival in Odisha for the last 10 years. Noted personalities from different parts of India and Ollywood actors participate in the popular event.

Swapna, who is staying in Mumbai, requested people to celebrate Holi with family inside the safety of their homes in view of the resurgence fear of coronavirus.

Notably, actress Swapna has launched her herbal holi kit recently.

“We can refresh ourselves by using these herbal colours in holi. People should be careful not to damage their skin by using chemical colours. All the colours are made up of sandalwood, henna, tesu, turmeric, multani mitti, spinach and indigo and Betroot  powder etc. All these products are good and safe for skin. These colours are also good in the time of Corona pandemic, as there is turmeric in it” said Swapna Pati, while launching the herbal colours in Mumbai.
