Pandian Reviews Progress Of SCB Medical Development Works In Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha VK Pandian on Sunday reviewed the progress of ongoing development works at SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCB MCH) in Cuttack.

The SCB Hospital is being transformed into an AIIMS plus institution with state-of-the-art facilities. Pandian took stock of progress of various works at the project site and held discussions with the officials there.

He also visited various components at the work site and interacted with the engineers and the executing agencies. He asked them to ensure quality control.

Instructing them to complete the construction works within timeline, he told the executing agencies to increase the manpower, if necessary, to expedite the progress of the work.

The project is being implemented at a cost of Rs 4,500 crore. The additional facilities include residential blocks and the 2,058-bed hospital.
