Paradip: Paradip Port created a record on Monday by handling 24 ships
in the last 24 hours.
According to reports, the port handled the 24 vessels in three shifts
(9 vessels in first, 7 in second and 8 in third shift) from 8 am on
Sunday to 8 am this morning.
A total of 10 out of the 24 vessels sailed out of the port, while 12
ships anchored at the port and two others were redirected from the
port, Harbour Master Atulya Kumar Mohapatra informed.
The port authorities have praised the efforts of the employees for the
achievement.
