Tokyo: Hours after Bhavinaben Patel won a silver medal in the Tokyo Paralympics table tennis competition on Sunday, athlete Nishad Kumar doubled India’s tally with another silver.
Nishad finished second in the finals of High Jump T47 category. Hue silver-clinching jump measured 2.09 metres, which equalled his own Asian Record set earlier this year.
“What a brilliant performance by Nishad! Many congratulations to our champ!!!” tweeted SAI Media.
