Bhubaneswar: BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra on Monday said that the High Court-monitored SIT probe will reveal the murder of the minor girl of Nayagarh district.
“In my personal opinion, the people of Odisha have compassion towards the death of the minor girl. As the death of the minor girl has sent a shock wave across the state, the state government has decided to go for a court-monitored SIT probe and I welcome the decision,” Mohapatra told the media.
Justifying his contention, he said that the CBI probe into the case will yield no results. “The central investigating agency has failed in all investigations in the state it has taken up so far. “I am quite optimistic that the SIT probe monitored by a sitting judge of the High Court will be transparent and the guilty will be punished,” he maintained.
