Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader and Odisha in-charge Dr A Chella Kumar will visit Nayagarh district to meet the family members of the five-old girl who was abducted and murdered in July this year.
Kumar is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar on Friday morning for a two-day tour of state, the media convener of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), Dipak Kumar Mahapatra, said.
Kumar is also scheduled to preside over a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) at 11 am.
Later in the afternoon, he will hold a review meeting with senior leaders on the party’s organization.
After a night halt in the city, Kumar will leave for Nayagarh on Saturday and meet the family members of the deceased girl at Jadupur village.
He will return to Bhubaneswar at 3 pm and attend a meeting of party observers and district presidents and discuss the future course of action before leaving for Delhi in the evening.
