Mumbai: ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, which is into its third season, has been featuring celebrities from different fields, not just the film industry.
The Kapil Sharma-helmed show on Netflix was all set for an episode with actress-politician couple Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, but it was not to be.
Parineeti and Raghav were shooting for the show when it had to be cut short because of a medical emergency.
Raghav’s mother, who was present on set, suddenly felt unwell and had to be transported to a nearby hospital immediately, IANS reported.
Obviously, Parineeti and Raghav left the shoot, and the production team had to halt filming.
Parineeti and Raghav got married in September 2023, and this was to be their first joint television appearance.
Fans and well-wishers will be praying for a quick and complete recovery of Raghav’s mother, so that the couple can complete the shoot for a much-anticipated episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.
Parineeti, who has by and large kept a low profile since her marriage, was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. She has wrapped up shoot for her next project, a mystery thriller series on Netflix.
