Bhubaneswar: Several parts of the Odisha recorded light moderate rainfall in the last 24 hours as per the data released by India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhubaneswar manual observatory.
Tangarpali in Odisha’s Sundargarh district recorded the highest rainfall of 35.4 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours followed by Hemgiri at 11 mm and Rajgangpur 10.2 mm in Sundargarh district, as per IMD.
Similarly, 17.2 mm rainfall has been recorded at Laikera and 16.7 mm at Kirmira (both Jharsuguda district), 15.2 mm at Bamra and 8.2 mm rainfall at Kuchinda in Sambalpur district during the last 24 hours.
The IMD has issued yellow warning for Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak. The warning stands effective from today till Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, the night temperature have seen a rise. The lowest night temperature (minimum) was recorded for Sundargarh and Boudh at 13 degree Celsius.
The highest maximum temperature in Bhubaneswar was 35.7 degrees and in Cuttack it was 34.22 degrees. The minimum temperature in the twin cities was 19.4 C (Bhubaneswar) and 18 C (Cuttack).
Basing on the IMD’s data, the Special relief Commissioner has asked the collectors to circulate the forecast among the public and monitor the situation. They have also been told to take necessary action in case of any eventuality.
