Passenger Critical After Being ‘Pushed’ By MoBus Guide In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A passenger was critically injured after allegedly being pushed out a running ‘MoBus’ by its guide at Hansapal, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, on Tuesday evening.

The passenger, Nirmalendu Parida, alleged that he lost his balance after being pushed, fell down on the road and the bus ran over his left leg, causing grievous injuries.

He was initially admitted to Capital Hospital here and later shifted to a private hospital.

Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), which runs the city bus service in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri cities, has initiated a probe into the incident. The guide concerned is kept off duty and examination of CCTV footage is done.
