Rourkela: Passengers travelling on Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express created a ruckus as the AC in four bogies of the train was not functioning.
The train was scheduled to depart from Rourkela station at 11:40 am today. But passengers detained the train for four hours, demanding immediate repair of the AC.
According to sources, the AC was not functioning in bogies C1,C2, C3 and B1.
The train was detained at Kalunga station due to the same reason.
Railway authorities and police officers tried to pacify the passengers but in vain. The train resumed its onward journey after the AC was repaired, sources said.
