Jharsuguda: Almost after two months’ lockdown, passengers from Kolkata arrived at Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) airport in Odisha’s Jharsuguda with resumption of flight service by Alliance Air.
According to sources, the flight from Kolkata reached Jharsuguda at 7.35 am.
Passengers, who were to board the flight for Bhubaneswar scheduled to depart at 8.10 am, underwent thermal screening before entering the airport premises.
The flight arrived in Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, around 9.15 am.
Briefing the media here on Sunday, Station Manager, Alliance Air, Abhijit Satpathy said that a flight from Kolkata will arrive at Jharsuguda airport on Monday and later leave for Bhubaneswar. The flight will leave the Biju Patnaik International Airport for Kolkata via Jharsuguda the same day.
