Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced to resume Patha Utsav in the city from coming Sunday.
In a post in its official handle, the BMC said the Utsav will be organised at Master Canteen square from 6 am on December 22 (Sunday).
The road show highlighting various cultural events will focus on the18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention, scheduled to be held in the city from January 8 to 10 in new year, official sources said.
Apart from music and dance, other events including quiz, skating, yoga and cycling will be held on the road from the Master Canteen to Ram Mandir.
It may be noted that the BMC had launched Patha Utsav in 2016 to engage people in cultural and other activities during the winter.
Last year, the Patha Utsav was started on Christmas with a focus on the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup. It was held at Ratha Road in the Old Town area of Bhubaneswar.
