Patia Continues To Top In Daily COVID Caseload In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Patia remained at the top of the table of daily COVD affected persons as the capital city reported 803 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

While 710 new positive cases were reported in the city on Tuesday, there were 619 cases on Monday and 574 cases on Sunday.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), of the day’s total cases, 755  patients are local contacts while 48 are from quarantine.

Of the local contact cases, the highest 71 cases are from Patia, followed by 31 from  Nayapalli, 28 from Sailashree Vihar, 27 from Old Town, and 24 from Chandrasekharpur.

As many as 109 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours while the casualty remained same as yesterday at 1,103.

The active cases went up to 4,622 while total 1,28,779 people have been infected by the virus so far.
