Mayurbhanj: A truck overturned on an ambulance, killing the patient who was being carried in it, on Bangiriposhi ghat in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
According to sources, the accident took place while the critically-ill patient was being shifted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital, Baripada, from Tiring hospital.
The ambulance driver and four other family members of the patient suffered critical injuries in the mishap.
On being informed, police reached the spot.
