Bhubaneswar: A patient died after the tyre of a 108 ambulance, carrying him from Dharmagarh to districts headquarters hospital at Bhawanipatna, reportedly flattened on Hati river bridge near Junagarh in Odisha’s Kalahandi on Thursday.
As bad luck would have it, the spare tyre was also found in a punctured state. The driver then contacted the authorities concerned for another ambulance, which took around 30 minutes to arrive at the spot. Though the patient was rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead by doctors there, sources said.
