Seoul/New Delhi: Soon after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19, a patient, with underlying diseases, in a long-term care hospital in South Korea died on Wednesday.
The 50-plus patient received the vaccine shot on Tuesday morning at a hospital in Goyang, just outside of Seoul’s northwestern border, reported news agency IANS.
The patient started showing symptoms of heart failure and breathing difficulty by the afternoon but recovered after being put under emergency care.
However, the symptoms recurred the very next day morning before the patient passed away.
