Nabarangpur: A patient fled from the Nabarangpur DHH and allegedly committed suicide late on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Gopala Bhatara of Dengapadar village under Tentulikhunti block in the district. Gopala, a mentally retired person, was ill and admitted to Nabarangpur DHH. On Wednesday night, he went out on pretext of easing himself and hanged himself from a tree near the hospital. On being informed, the police reached the hospital and seized the body. Investigation into the matter is on.
