Malkangiri: Doctors at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here have their hands full as a patient suspected to be suffering from Coronavirus has tested positive for swine flu here.
The patient, Parimal Biswas from MV-41 village under Korukonda block had recently returned home from Kolkata after attending a conference organised by ISKCON. Later, he complained of a prolonged fever and cough.
Suspecting him to be a coronavirus patient, the district health department shifted him to DHH.
Here, he was tested positive for swine flu.
Parimal is undergoing treatment in a special ward. According to doctors, all his family members would be kept under treatment for 15 days to avoid further spread of the disease.
