Anandpur: An attendant of a patient was injured after a concrete plaster chunk from the ceiling fell on him at Anandpur Sub-Divisional hospital in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Sunday.
The incident reportedly took place near the OPD of the government-run hospital. The locals and the relatives of have blamed low quality of construction work for the mishap.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was visiting the Sub-Divisional hospital along with a patient when the concrete chunk call on his head, causing him injuries.
Infuriated over the incident, local residents claimed that such mishaps have become a regular feature in the hospital.
The locals have urged the authorities to keep a vigilant eye on the quality of construction and repair works to avoid such mishap in the future.
