Paytm is now allowing users to scan any Quick response (QR) code such as BHIM UPI or Google Pay and make a payment.
Users can scan any UPI QR code available at a merchant store from their PayTM app’s Pay section. This will take them to the payments page where they can select the bank account and enter the UPI pin to make a transaction.
Google Pay already has this feature.
PayTM has reportedly registered over 70 crore transactions in the month of June alone. This, apparently, is more than any other UPI-based payment app.
