Bhubaneswar: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel seized 12.2 kg ganja at Bhubaneswar railway station and arrested one person on Monday evening.
According to sources, the arrested, identified as Rabibur Alam from West Bengal, was nabbed while trying to smuggle the contraband item outside the state in Yashovantpur-Howrah Duronto Express.
Alam’s interrogation revealed that he had brought the ganja from Koraput to Bhubaneswar by bus. He was supposed to smuggle it from Bhubaneswar to Rampur in Kolkata via train.
