Bhubaneswar: The enforcement squad of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday imposed penalty on two restaurants in the city for violating the COVID-19 guidelines.

ound Chancellor Restaurant and Appetite Restaurant in Saheed Nagar not following the orders of Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on dining restriction and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each restaurant.
On Tuesday, the SRC had issued the order prohibiting sit-in dining in any hotel or restaurant from April 21.
All hotels/restaurants/street food joints can take online orders and deliver the same. The customers can go to such places only for take-away. No one should be allowed to eat at the spot, the SRC ordered.
