Jajpur: In a shocking incident, a peon was found hanging inside Binjharpur Tehsil office in Jajpur on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Prashant Kumar Jena. He was a Class-IV employee in the Tehsil office.
According to sources, the employees of the Tehsil office found the body and informed the police.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and seized the body for postmortem.
The exact cause behind the death of the peon is yet to be ascertained. Investigation is underway.
