Bhubaneswar: People looking for stylish and affordable furniture have a reason to rejoice. KiTchen City has opened an exclusive Pepperfry studio at Unit IV in the state capital.
KiTchen City is a sister concern of Cuttack-based City Emporium, which was established in 1960 and is one of the oldest kitchenware stores of Odisha.
Pepperfry.com is India’s biggest online furniture brand with over 11,000 products. All of these products can be ordered conveniently at the Bhubaneswar studio. Pepperfry is quite popular among consumers of the twin cities and has reportedly been doing business worth crores here.
What sets Pepperfry apart from other furniture stores is the design and the range, said company insiders. From engineered wood to solid wood such as sheesham wood, all products are backed with a warranty as well. “Being a marketplace, Pepperfry sells furniture from other leading brands such as Godrej, Springfit, Spacewood, Home Town, Home Centre and more,” a company functionary informed.
“Unlike local-made furniture, most of Pepperfry’s products are machine built to perfection making it very unique and at the same time affordable,” said KiTchen City’s co-founder Umasankar Misra.
“The sheesham wood furniture range is extremely sturdy and can be passed onto generations. Coming from a brand like Pepperfry, customers can be rest assured of quality and service,” he added.
The studio also sells lighting fixtures and furnishing items such as mattress, pillows, cushion covers and more. The mattress range comes with a 100-night trial period as well.
The studio provides designing and complete end-to-end service for modular kitchens and wardrobes along with kitchen appliances, glassware and crockeryware.
Pepperfry is a Rs 1000 crore turnover company and is expected to reach the unicorn club, that is, companies with a valuation of more than $1 billion when its IPO hits the market, according to a report by The Economic Times.
