Permission Of Collector Mandatory For Private Copter Landing

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has made mandatory provision for the landing of private helicopters in any areas of the state.

According to a notification, no private helicopter will be allowed to land without the prior permission of the district collector.

If any private helicopter lands without getting permission from the collector, the local police will initiate appropriate action.

Since there are no air safety guidelines in Odisha, the state government has decided to strictly adhere to the guidelines of the Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA).
