Petrol Breaches Rs 90/Litre Mark In Bhubaneswar & Cuttack; Check Latest Rates

Bhubaneswar: Petrol touched a new high as fuel prices were hiked for the ninth day in a row, on Wednesday.

Petrol price soared to over Rs 100-mark per litre in Rajasthan after state-owned fuel retailers hiked it by 26 paise a litre. Diesel got dearer by 27 paise.

The fuel prices are also inching closer to the three-figure mark in Odisha.

Petrol price was the highest at Rs 94.90/litre in Malkangiri, followed by Rs 94.24 in Koraput, Rs 93.39 in Nabarangpur and Rs 92.72 in Rayagada. The diesel prices at these four places were Rs 91.63, Rs 91.03, Rs 90.17 and Rs 90.23 a litre respectively.

The denizens in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack have to cough up Rs 90.42 a litre and 90.36 a litre respectively.

In Bhubaneswar, the diesel price is 87.29.

The petrol and diesel prices in the city were Rs 89.98 and Rs 86.83 respectively on Tuesday.
