Bhubaneswar: The petrol and diesel prices again went down marginally here on Monday. The slash in the prices though has brought no relief to the customers as the prices still remain well over the normal rates.
Petrol was traded at Rs 91.51 per litre while the diesel price was Rs 88.27 per litre on Monday.
The prices were Rs 91.80 per litre and Rs 88.38 per litre, for petrol and diesel respectively on Sunday.
The petrol prices in India saw being slashed for the second consecutive day after a drop in the global crude rates amid the Suez Canal disruption.
The petrol rates in India are Rs 90.78 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 90.98 per litre in Kolkata, Rs 97.19 per litre in Mumbai and Rs 92.77 per litre in Chennai.
