While a litre of petrol became dearer by 57 paise, the cost of diesel went up by 59 paise per litre.
In Bhubaneswar, petrol now will now cost Rs 75.13 per litre and diesel will cost Rs 71.35 per litre.
Fuel prices had remained stationery for nearly three months, but began climbing from last Sunday. Since then, petrol has become dearer by Rs 3.31 per litre while diesel has become more costly by Rs 3.42 per litre.
Demand has steadily gone up for both petrol and diesel with lockdown restrictions being eased across the country.
