Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices were increased across the country for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday.
The petrol cost has been hiked by 85 paise per litre in Bhubaneswar. The petrol price has gone up to Rs 111.64 per litre, while diesel costs Rs 101.39.
In the last 15 days, the costs of fossil fuel have been hiked for 13 times in the country. While the petrol price has gone up by Rs 9.84 at the rate sof 9.6%, that of diesel by Rs 9.76 at the rate of 10.6% in Bhubaneswar during the period.
Fuel price in Cuttack is Rs 111.94 per litre for petrol and Rs 101.68 per litre for diesel, as per the revision of Oil Corporation Ltd.
In the national capital, both petrol and diesel prices have been raised by 80 paise each. So far in April, both petrol and diesel have been hiked by Rs 2.80 per litre in the national capital.
Last month, the prices were raised by Rs 6.40 per litre after witnessing nine hikes in a span of 10 days when daily revisions in auto fuel prices resumed following a gap of a record 137 days on March 22.
