Bhubaneswar: Petrol prices reached an all-year high on Monday. For the first time this year, petrol prices crossed Rs 75 per litre in New Delhi. The price of petrol in Bhubaneswar reached Rs 74 a litre and that of diesel, Rs 70.83 a litre.
In Bengaluru, a litre of petrol is now priced at Rs 77.57.
The rise is attributed to a spike in crude oil prices, which happened after Saudi Arabia decided to reduce oil production significantly.
