Bhubaneswar: The retail price of petrol soared to an all-time high in Odisha on Wednesday.
According to Utkal Petroleum Dealers’ Association (UPDA), the price of petrol per litre in the state has gone up to Rs 85.09 following a hike of 25 paise.
Besides, the price of diesel also went up to Rs 81.29 per litre with a hike of 27 paise.
UPDA general seretary Sanjay Lath attributed the rise in the fuel prices to the surge in crude oil prices in the international market.
