Hyderabad: Three weeks after being vaccinated, two post-graduate medical students at Nizam’s Institute Of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here have tested positive for coronavirus.
According to reports, they had been working in the Intensive Care Unit of the Pulmonary department.
Deccan Chronicle quoted senior resident doctor Dr Srinivasa Rao as saying that the PG doctors got infected despite wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and taking all safety precautions while working with infected patients in the respiratory unit.
