Bhubaneswar: Phulbani continued to be the coldest place in the state for the second consecutive night on Thursday, recording a minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius.
The mercury plummeted to 3.6 degrees Celsius in Phulbani on Tuesday night.
A cold wave continued to sweep the state with 15 places recording minimum temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius or less on Thursday. Besides Phulbani, the other places were Daringbadi (6.5), Bhubaneswar (10), Angul (10), Jharsuguda (7.1), Keonjhar (7.6), Sambalpur (9.5), Sundargarh (7.5), Bhawanipatna (8), Bolangir (9), Koraput (9.5), Titalgarh (7.3), Nayagarh (10), Boudh (9.6) and Rayagada (8).
