Notably, Imam and Ryaz met in Goa. Imam was on a vacation, basking in the ‘Pearl of the Orient’ in 2012. Ryaz worked in the hotel, she had put up at. They became friends and soon this friendship bloomed into love. They stayed in touch on social media.
Imam and Ryaz had been visiting Phulbani since 2012. Later, Imam came to India to marry the love of her life with the consent of her family.
