PIB Director Tests Corona Positive; Had Shared Stage With Two Union Ministers

New Delhi: Principal Director General of Press Information Bureau (PIB) KS Dhatvalia was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after testing positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

According to a report published in The Hindu, Dhatwalia had shared the stage with Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prakash Javadekar on June 3, when they had briefed the media about the decisions taken by the Centre.

Meanwhile, National Media Centre, where his office is located, has been sealed. It will open only after being sanitised completely. A massive contact tracing exercise is being carried out following the standard protocol, the report added.
