Cuttack: The process for allotment of plots for Bali Jatra-2022 has begun at collector’s conference and will continue from 11 am to 5 pm till October 7.
While the maps of both upper and lower Bali Jatra ground have been displayed at the conference hall and district websites – www.baliyatra.org and www.cuttack.nic.in- the patrons are required to apply for a minimum of 1,000 sq ft.
There are three categories of patrons – premium (over 5,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft), platinum (over 3,000 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft) and gold (over 1,000 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft). For the allotment of plots, patrons will be charged Rs 500 per sq ft.
After the payment is completed, the patrons will be allotted their respective plots immediately on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis.
“Brands and Logos of the buyers will be publicised on the Bali Jatra ground, through various social media platforms, and on the websites to promote Balijatra at a national and international level,” the release added.
Likewise, the allotment process of plots for the annual festival, which commemorates the maritime glory of Odisha, for other traders, institutions, and individuals will begin on October 8 and continue till October 15. They are required to apply for an area below 1,000 sq ft.
