Bhubaneswar: The admission to Plus II streams in Odisha will begin from August 21, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday.
He said the students can apply online for admission through the SAMS centres. The last date is September 4.
Considering the COVID-19 pandemic in the state, the minister said the School and Mass Education Department has reduced the admission fee for the general category students from Rs 300 to Rs 200 while it is Rs 100 as against Rs 200 for those belonging to SC/ST category. This has been done on the direction of the Chief Minister, he said.
The first merit list will be announced on September 9, he added.
