Bhubaneswar: A total of 29 junior colleges in Odisha have recorded cent per cent pass result in the annual Plus II Arts and Commerce examinations, the results of which were announced on Friday.
While announcing the results, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said while four colleges have scored cent per cent results in Arts, all students of Commerce in 25 colleges have cleared the examination.
On the other hand, two junior colleges have nil results in Arts. They are Anchalika Mahila Higher Secondary School in Jajpur and Prachi Bhinnakhyama Higher Secondary School in Khurda district.
In Commerce, three colleges in Ganjam district and one college in Malkangiri district have nil results. They are Gopalpur Higher Secondary School, Ganjam, KP Science Higher Secondary School, Ganjam, Shri Jagannath Higher Secondary School, Rambha (Ganjam) and Shyama Prasad Higher Secondary School, Malkangiri.
Asked about the fall in the pass percentage, the minister said he will have a meeting on this matter very soon.
