Bhubaneswar: With annual Plus II examination in Odisha scheduled to begin from May 18, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has directed for installation of CCTV cameras in all examination centres by April 25.
In a letter to the principals of all Junior colleges and higher secondary schools, the Council has said that the colleges that are yet to install CCTV cameras have to take immediate steps and ensure that the job is done by April 25.
Apart from this, the Council has asked the principals of the self-financing colleges to install CCTV cameras at the laboratories by April 25.
The Council said that if any college or higher secondary school fails to comply with its order and submit a report in the SAMS e-Space by April 25, it will cancel the theory and practical examinations and recommend the state government to initiate appropriate action against them.
