Plus II Girl Student Falls To Death From Hostel In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A girl student reportedly died after falling from the roof of her hostel in Balasore on Thursday evening.

According to sources, the girl, belonging to Bisoi area of Mayurbhanj was studying Plus II in a residential private college in the town. In the evening, she had gone to roof, her hostel roommates said.

After some time, other boarders of the hostel found her lying dead on the ground and informed the college authorities.

On being informed, a team from Balasore Sadar police station rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered an unnatural case and started investigation.

While the police said the cause of death could be ascertained after getting the post-mortem report, the girl’s family members have alleged that she was murdered.
