Bhubaneswar: The Plus II Instant examinations began at 180 centres in Odisha on Wednesday with COVID-19 guidelines.
A total of 1390 students are appearing for the examinations.
According to the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), the theory examination of Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational Education will be held on Wednesday while the students will appear for practical and project examinations papers on Thursday.
The students who have failed in the theory and practical examinations will be allowed to appear for the Instant examinations while those who have passed in the practical and project papers will appear for the theory examination. However, the students, who have passed the theory examination but failed in the practical and project papers examinations, will have to appear for both the examinations.
Elaborate security has been put in place at all examination centres. The centre superintendents have been instructed to ensure no congregation outside the centres.
The students have been asked to enter the examination hall with masks, admit cards and identity cards.
