Sonepur: A Plus II student died under mysterious circumstances at a residential school in Odisha’s Sonepur district on Tuesday with his family alleging that he was beaten to death.
As per information, the incident took place at Tarbha Ashram School. The deceased student was study
ing in second year of Plus II and staying in the hostel of the residential school.
While the exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained, his family members alleged that the student died after being brutally assaulted. The motive behind the alleged attack also remains unclear.
The critically injured student was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The body has been kept at the hospital for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
After getting information, local police visited the hospital and launched an investigation. Statements of school authorities, staff members, and students are being recorded by the police.
