Koraput: Hundreds of Plus II students of Kumbhariput college in Bandhugan block of Odisha’s Koraput district staged a road blockade on Monday, protesting against the shifting of examination centre from their college to Laxmipur.
Talking to the media, the irate students alleged that the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) this year has shifted the examination centre to Laxmipur College, which is about 50 km from Kumbhariput.
They further said that they will continue the road blockade until the CHSE authorities revise their decision and allow them to appear in the annual examination in the nearby colleges.
