Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has acknowledged BJP leader Subramanian Swamy’s letter requesting a CBI inquiry in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case.
In his latest Twitter post, Swamy shared a copy of the letter which he has received from the Prime Minster of India.
Swamy further tweeted that those who want a CBI inquiry into the Sushant suicide case should request MPs of their constituencies to write to PM Modi demanding the same.
“All those who want CBI inquiry into the circumstances of SSR’s unnatural death should ask their constituency MPs to write, like me, to PM asking for a CBI inquiry,” wrote Swamy on his Twitter handle.
Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. While the post-mortem reports have declared that the actor died due to asphyxia, many are still speculating some foul play in his death.
Besides Sushant’s fans, several political leaders like Swamy, Roopa Ganguly and Pappu Yadav have sought a CBI probe.
