New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will observe a day-long fast along with other BJP MPs on April 12, as a mark of protest against the Parliament session walkout.
BJP national president Amit Shah will also be joining the hunger strike.
The second edition of the Parliament’s budget session was washed out due to protests by the opposition parties.
“The Prime Minister will observe a fast even while engaged in his official duty and official engagements,” BJP spokesperson was quotes by IANS.
While Amit Shah will observe the fast at Hubli in Karnataka, the party MPs have been asked to fast in their respective constituencies.
