New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held a video conference meeting with the chief ministers of different states on the COVID-19 lockdown.
The meeting’s agenda is to review whether the states favoured an extension of the lockdown and chart a clear exit plan.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his counterparts from Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh and the Union Territory of Puducherry are likely to speak at the meeting. From the northeast, the Chief Ministers of Meghalaya and Mizoram will speak.
The meeting came just a week ahead of the scheduled ending of the countrywide lockdown on May 3.
