PM Modi Likely To Visit Odisha On Sept 27; What’s On Agenda?

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Odisha on September 27 and attend a large public rally in Berhampur.

While the detailed schedules and final itinerary of Modi’s planned visit are yet to be announced, sources said he is expected to attend a Seva Paksha programme of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The Prime Minister is likely to address a public rally in Berhampur during his one-day visit. Detailed schedule for the proposed visit is being finalised.

Modi’s Odisha visit is being viewed as politically significant for the BJP as it coincides with the party’s fortnight-long nationwide Seva Paksha outreach programme.

Observed to mark Modi’s birthday every year, Seva Paksha includes various social service campaigns and welfare activities across constituencies.

Ahead of Modi’s proposed visit, party workers in Odisha are preparing for blood donation camps, health check-ups, sanitation drives, and community assistance programmes during the fortnight. The proposed event in Berhampur is likely to highlight these initiatives as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots connections.
